The bike was outside of the apartment before the Billy Joel concert. I verified that it was still there and locked at 8 pm. I made dinner at my apartment and once again checked outside around 10 pm to check on the status of the bike and listen to the end of the concert. I assume it was stolen by someone returning from the concert. I woke up at 7 am and saw that my bike was not there, and the Combination Cord Lock was cut and left on the rocks in front of the apartment building.

When I returned 11PM, the bike and the lock were both missing. There was a blue bike locked up near mine as well as a red vintage bike. The red bike was still there, but the blue bike as well as my own were both gone.

Bike was stolen between 2 and 4 o'clock p.m. I, the owner of the bicycle, was in the library during the time of the incident. In order to make his or her escape unobstructed by any witnesses in close proximity, the bike theft struck in the middle of a heavy rain storm. s
