Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Bike was hanging in garage, thief came into garage and stole bike.

Stolen off my back patio in the middle of the night. Back patio is behind a locked fence.

Bike was located in hallway outside of the apartment. Not locked but the door to the front of the building was locked. Left the bike there overnight and in the morning it was gone. Possible that the thief broke into the apartment or had access to the apartment through other tenants in the building.

Bike was stored outdoors around 8:15 on 6/23/23 within locked gate, not visible from the alley or street. Bike was missing by 1:15.

Someone with an adult shoe size came into the backyard through the gate and took the bike out of the backyard, right after I inflated the tires and in the 13 minutes I was inside getting the bike lock. (Near N Kedvale Avenue intersection with W Wilson Ave)

Bike was taken from my garage, off the back alley between 1pm and 3:30pm on Saturday, June 17th, 2023.

Our garage door has been failing so it was open and someone took advantage and took the bike

Bike was locked under our back porch. It was locked with a cable onto a Abus Mini U lock onto the bike frame I was also connected to a Burley Bee trailer. They removed the trailer before taking the bike. Found the bike without the trailer this morning around 11:00am. I had locked it the day before around 7:30pm.

Bike was locked with cafe lock in back yard with locked gate. Discovered missing in the morning.

The bike was stored in the garage. I saw the garage door open and bike being stolen. There were other bikes but only this one was stolen

Bike was stolen from the bike rack underneath my apartments patio, had to be taken during from between 3pm June 18th and 5:00 am June 19th. Someone had to have gotten through the locked gate and then used a device to cut open the lock. It was left completely mangled and open where my bike was.

Bike was left on my 2nd floor porch overnight, woke up and it was gone. The back door to my building was left unlocked.

We walked into our garage and noticed the garage door was left open. Our bike was no longer in the garage and is assumed to be stolen.

Locked my bike to a rack at the intersection of S Columbus Dr and E Monroe Dr at 1pm. Came back at 4pm and the bike was gone.

Two e-bikes - Trek Conduit and Specialized Como - were stolen from my private secured/locked single-car garage. The bikes were not locked to anything inside of the garage, but the garage doors were locked via Latch electric/Bluetooth lock. We parked the bikes in the garage at 9:21 PM on June 4, closed the door, and watched to ensure it closed. On June 14 at 5:50 AM, I re-entered the garage for the first time since June 4 and noticed the bikes were no longer there. No sign of breaking and entering. No other items were stolen from the garage. I suspect this theft was conducted by someone affiliated with the Fulton Grace property management company (or a third-party contractor) who had latch access to our private garage.
