The teal 20" frame Giant bike was locked onto a short fence in front of 1124 W. Pratt Blvd. It had a 4-number combination lock locking the bike frame and front tire to the fence. When it was stolen, both the bike and the lock were taken.

BIke was locked to a wooden fence inside my locked apartment courtyard around 8pm on Friday, August 8, and gone the next day Saturday, August 9. It was locked with a Kryptonite u-lock through the frame and front wheel, but the fence post was cut. The bike wasn't visible from the outside the courtyard, so the bike thief would have known about it ahead of time.

It is a matte black with gray decals, and a beige ROCKSHOX fork. Almost all components are SRAM branded, with a SRAM XX1 groupset. No front derraileur.

I had just returned from a late-night run to the convenience store. My hands were full and I set the bike against the wall to carry in some things first. There are two doors to get into my apartment building, one external, one in a courtyard. I don't remember clearly which door I set it next to, but when I came back for it, it was gone, lock and all. This is a very tall bike, it is unlikely most people could ride it away. It would have to be walked, or put in the back of a vehicle.

Bike is always inside an enclosed garage (free standing) on a bike rack. When I took car out of garage for work at 5:30pm on Tuesday 8/5/14 the bike was still there. When I return home at 3am on Wednesday 8/6/14 the bike was gone. No other item missing from garage. Garage door was closed. However found that the door that exit to the yard was unlock. Gate to the yard has a lock but the fence is very low.

On Wednesday morning of August 6, it was found that the garage door had been unlocked with the bike gone. The bike had not been locked to anything in the garage; there was only a cable lock that was locked on the handlebar so this may eventually be cut off by the thief.
