The bike had been locked to the bike rack and to the frame of my friend's green Surly Long Haul Trucker. We locked up the bikes outside of the Northwestern Hospital at about noon on Monday, June 18, and returned back at 8 pm to find my friend's bike still against the rack with the lock cut and still hanging there with her helmet, and my bike gone. Because her bike was still there, I assume that mine hadn't been stolen too long before, perhaps during rush hour that evening. The picture of the bike I attached is roughly what it looks like...I couldn't find a picture of the same bike with my colors.

We have new neighbors across the street, they are very shady. They were out when it happened, claimed they didnt see anything. The cops have been at their place a few times in the last few weeks. They are noisy, dirty, rude. They wouldn't even talk to me when I asked if they saw anyone take my bike. I'm pretty sure they took it, but there's nothing I can do.

Went to see a movie at Landmark Theatre, came out after movie was over, my bike was missing. There were no other bikes attached to bike rack either, however there were locks on the ground, suspect other bikes might be stolen also.
